outriggers been tackling the welding on my cf250 (well a mate has !) and its more than i thought needed doing.Q. is it possible to still buy the outriggers that connect the wings to the chassis ? mine are totally shot

Hi. can I suggest you try LMC Hadrian. They don't actually stock CF chassis and panels as such, but they do stock what I call universal sections, that is pre-formed metal parts which can be adapted. www.carpanels.com Cheers, John. ---------------------- |

winchman posted a link to a guy that makes up cf arches etc www.classiccarwebsite.com/home/a0_C/a0_CL/i172_Classic_Car_Sills so phoned jim, who explained that it wasnt something he had in stock but if i could measure out the sizes he would make up a pair for £15 +£6 postage. so if anyone has the exact size for the outriggers ? i could try my set out, if they are a nice fit etc, then im sure they are worth having some made for spares for the club ? just a thought but looking at mine i am sure they are a common thing to suffer corrosion. |
