Fitting rear seat belts??? HI Folks.. I'd like to fit 2 extra seat belts to the rear of our Advantura...we've 2 side seats behind the drivers and passengers seats and a rear lounge...Has anyone done the same and where are the best spots to anchor the seat belts...would prefer three pointers...are lap belts legal in the rear? Any advice appreciated!!! MattPS Just looked it up and the sideways seats are not an option! ---------------------- |

Have a peek on the search facility top left- somewhere there Ive put a link to govt directives on this- you will probably have to add steel plates to the underside of the floor to reinforce... ---------------------- |

Side facing seats dont need belts, I think you are not allowed to fit them either, have a look around as I think it has been covered before ---------------------- |

I have fitted belts to my Advantura in the 2 seats behind the fronts and they go through the outrigger with big washers, very pleased with those although I had to make extensions with 5mm bar to raise the socket side. The seats in the very back, I have mounted a pair of lap belts once again through the out riggers and this is mainly to stop my children flying forwards to say hello when I brake! not sure about legal issues with side facing seats though? ---------------------- |
