starter Good morning guysplease can someone help is there an alternative starter motor that can replace he Delco Remy fitted to my 1983 cf 2.3 l engine 97560DV614354 iam in South Africa and very no spares for Bedford . Many Thanks Gary ---------------------- |

Starter. Hi Gary,What you can do is buy the starter motor fitted to the Vauxhall Victor FD, they are more likely to be still around then swap over the casings so that you get the solenoid position at the correct angle to sit under the floor of your Bedford. doujoy |

starter [ New ] Hi GuysJust to let you all know ,there is a new alternative starter that fits straight into the 2.3 l Bedford petrol motor , the land Rover Defender ![]() ![]() ![]() Hi Dougie thanks for your reply , ? my viscous was bolted tha only {new ] replacement i got is from the 3 series BMW the fan blades out side diameter is +/- 10 millimeters [3/8 ] smaller than the inside diameter of the radiator cowling ,the new fan is 415 mm od 12 blade compered to the old one of +/- 340 od 8 blade [ 2 of which were cut down opposite ] ? Will it make a big difference to the air flow , ? if i leave the cowling off
