Won't start

Hi we have a 39 year old cf glendale, won't start, turn key ignition light on but does not turn, no noise whatsoever, any ideas many thanks

starting

Hi.

Sounds like a starter problem, does the ign. light go out when you turn the key if so it could a bad connection between battery and starter, or a bad earth.
